I saw “System Of A Down” on 2011/06/15 in Berlin live open-air at Kindl-Wuhlheide… woo woo woo, what a hell of a concert, awesome band, awesome atmosphere, over the top awesomeness deluxe again… thanks to Serj, Shavo & Co., great job dudes !
You’ll get an insight of the concert’s atmosphere in this video, a friend of mine found on YouTube:
Uhhhh I love it !
I recorded the following video from my point of view, but the audio is not so great:
I forgot to post that video I made on 2011/05/14, so here it is…
It’s part of a demonstration against the reconstruction of the Berlin’s Kastanienallee for “better” car navigation… Kastanienallee is the street where Peaches lives, so she made a small concert without salary !

I was glad to see Busta Rhymes together with Flipmode live in Berlin on 2010-12-16 at Astra-Kulturhaus !
This was one of the best hiphop-concerts I ever saw, this guy is so unbelievable… if you like hiphop and have the chance to see Busta live then get your ass up and go to see him, it’s hyper-mega-über-awesome !!!
I made several videos during the show and created a youtube-playlist with 4 videos.
Unfortunately the audio quality is too bad to enjoy the whole show, the bass nearly blew my cellphone mic ;P …
but nevermind, feel free to skip through the videos to get an impression:
Busta Rhymes – Live in Berlin – 2010-12-16 – at Astra-Kulturhaus
Another kool 😉 concert I visited here in Berlin was Kool & the Gang at Tempodrom.
Some people in the crowd were not as relaxed as they should have been.
They had no understanding that some “younger” people just walked in front of them while they were standing at the stage waiting for Kool’s Gang for a while, but hey “fuck the shit”, they should have gotten a ticket for seats instead of the standing room.
But nevermind, first we stood in front of the stage, later we went upstairs to the seats anyway, even if we had no ticket for this, because people there were much more relaxed !
The concert was really nice, especially when you keep in mind that this band is rocking (or should I say souling or funking ;-)) the crowd since 1969, that’s 41 years, in words fourty-one, holy shit !
The best parts were their hits at the end of the show, like “Celebration”:
or “Ladies Night” and more:
The next part is from the first half of the concert and some kind of “freestyle session”, check this out:
I’m in Berlin since the beginning of november and I visited several concerts here… the first was KRSone on the 4th of november at the “Festsaal Kreuzberg”.
I love KRSone “the Teacher” ‘s opinions and messages, he’s a very sympathic person with a nobility of ideals !
“This is not a Rap-Show where I stand down here and give you my hits. Fuck that ! I’m here to inspire you !!!”
KRSone is genius, this session together with Supernatural (aka MC Supernatural) was over the top awesomeness !
Supernat’s freestyles just blew my mind, hell yeah !
The whole crowd was really impressed by both MCs, I loved to feel the vibe in that location, thumbs up.
Here’s another footage from KRSone’s performance – “Sound of da Police”:
I love Berlin for its live concerts, so many great performances, it’s amazing !
I’ll bring you some more in the coming weeks: Kool & the Gang, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Eternia! and Busta Rhymes!! … stay tuned 😉
